A Growing Scam

My story probably starts out like yours; you need extra income and or another job because you lost yours for whatever reason. Or, you want to stay home with your children. So, you begin your search for "Work from home" jobs. You are cautious, just like I was. You go on The BBB and search the business name and find that there is no review on them. Just for added measure you attempt at googling their company name and turn up with only their website.

That is exactly what happened to me. I did my feeble research on Seeing Angels Two by Two LLC and found nothing. Little did I know the costly nightmare this 'company' would cost me.

In the beginning, the owner was nice, the folks walk you through the process of getting a job under the main souce--Arise. I finally landed a well paid job, trained for 4 weeks, 5 days a week for 3 hours a night. Bought my equipment such as head phones, computer hookups, extra telephone, extra phone line, etc only to work 4 weeks. Why work 4 weeks you ask??

I was written a bad check by the company who then turned around and claimed theft by a mean and terrible outsider. I did a little digging and found that this was not the first time this company has claimed theft of some sort. Needless to say, their bounced check caused me to to overdraft over a $100.00. Of course they promise to send me the NSF fees but I never saw them.
I gave the company a deadline for my money to be paid to me and advised them I would take additional steps if I did not get what was owed to me.

The next morning, I was locked out from servicing my client that I had worked so hard to get.
In other words, they fired me because I demanded payment. They thought that by firing me it would prevent me from contacting Arise and other sources--WRONG!

Folks, I am not the exception. Since my nightmare, I have discovered 5 other people who too, have received bad checks and or have not been paid. One such perseon they still owe $1600.00!!! The sad thing is, is that Arise direct deposits all the money into her business account. From there, she is SUPPOSED to write you your paycheck when in reality, this company is stealing YOUR hard earned dollar.

Best advice, get your OWN LLC license and go directly under Arise yourself. You will save your sanity and money in the long run. You can go to http://www.arise.com/

I am not out to get them; I am here only to warn innocent hard working families not to get involved with this company. Its not worth the scandal.

    2. Thank you for sharing the information of your IB, however I don't see Hire 1 Virtual as a Premier IB with Arise. Seeing Angels is one of the leading Premier Partners with Arise and holds an A+ rating with the BBB. Anyone is more than welcome to contact Arise to get any information needed on SATBT. Seeing Angels just wrapped up a successful weekend spent with the Arise team, as it was a honor to be awarded with the IBO of the Year Award for 2013. I would also like to add this is SATBT's 2nd win since Arise started this 3 years ago.

  2. I was looking for a work at home job and doing my research on this company. And you are exactly right, there is not much on the internet about this company at all. I am so glad I found your blog before I signed up with them.

Have you ever thought about reporting to the BBB because so many people look to them for reports like this. Thanks for your insights.

  5. Seeing Angels Two By Two LLC Scams their DM'S out of their correct pay. The DM's Are the ones who does all the work. They spend numerous hours a day handling phone calls, e-mails from agents and not to mention posting ads and recruiting all the agents. Seeing Angels Two By Two do not pay the DM"S correctly, do not send them their invoices until months after the pay period and avoids them when they inquire about their incorrect invoiced pay. They treat them like children and speak to them any kind of way. Ginger and Becky If you want your agents to be treated correctly you have to start by treating your DM'S RIGHT! After all your DM'S are bringing in the Money for your company. You do NOTHING!!!! But vacation and take your families to nice places on your DM"S dime all the time. Don't you think your DM'S deserve to take care of their families like you do yours? You do not even advertise and have the nerve of getting on your DM'S when not many people are in your unprofessional webinars. You steal all your agents from other DM'S and ride their coat tails and take the ones who come to your site from the DM'S advertisements. You also Keep all the DM'S agents when they quit or get fired. That's GREEDY!. This info has come to me from a reliable DM. I will NEVER work for your company.

He pays on a VERY timely schedule. I was paid on the 22nd of Feb, for work through the 15th of Feb.

  8. I have had many CSP's come to join my IBO from this VSC for the reason listed above. Many VSC's don't pass on dollar for dollar what Arise is paying the IBO owner. Many VSC's pay a lower hourly wage, some take a bit 10% percentage off the top. My IBO however only charges a flat monthly fee of $49.95 for part time CSP's and $69.95 for full time CSP's. We also give our CSP's the actual Arise invoice (earning statement) so you can see what you have made. If you are interested in our IBO visit our website at www.theworkathomesolutions.com.

Often times CSPs and potential CSPs are confused with rules, guidelines, or requirements of the IBO because Arise may or may not have the same guidelines. Please understand that all information is provided before signing on with an IBO and if you are not satisfied for any reason you can always develop your own IBO or join another existing IBO that you feel would be a better fit.

    2. this is not true. not EVERY ibo provides every detailed information that's needed prior to signing with them. that's why it's highly important for EVERYONE to asks what each ibo's fees are prior to signing with them. that's the MOST important.

  10. Travis,
Yes you’re correct anyone can open their own business and work for Arise however, the benefit of working under a premier partner vs. IBO is us a newly established IBO has lack of resources and knowledge to be able to provide the CSP’s with the assistance that they need. In the event of Major issues such as SOW, Payroll, invoices, metrics these issues can usually be resolved within the day due to the relationship that Arise and their Premier Partners have. As far as the money that it cost to start your own business and could be correct $100.00 or more in some states however, you failed to mention the FACT that this is a yearly expense along with corporate taxes and fees. As well as when you go to open a business account with your finical institution of choice they typically require that you as a business keep a minimum balance. I’m truly saddened that your feel the need to represent yourself as a family member. After all is this how family treats each other?

  12. I have just switched from this Horrible company, Seeing Angels Two By Two. I just switched to Open Door Multi Services. Open door cares for their agents and only charge $20 per pay period. Thats it! no hidden fees, and they do not charge the Arise service fee. Ginger and Becky owners of Seeing Angels Two By Two deducts this amount from my invoice every pay period. I found out that Arise does not charge this fee if a IBO has 100 or more agents working. They are stealing our money. Ginger just spent over 30,000 in fake boobs and fat reduction etc...On our dollars, Any other business would try and give some of that money back to their staff and agents. It must be nice to be able to blow that kind of money.I also know she is presenting herself very trashy and unprofessional on her facebook with trashy pictures of her. Arise staff is included on her friends list. This is so unprofessional. On top of that Ginger showed up at a Arise business meeting with no underwear and a see through dress. She also told some that she had a "business meeting" With one of the very high persons at Arise in her Hotel Room late at night.I will not disclose names. But, I wouldnt be suprised if she slept with them all. She also spends over $500 in gifts to Arise Personell. Does this make sence? Why not spend this on your staff and agents? I pray that God has mercy on your souls, and anyone involved with this Company.

  13. We apologize for any and all past situations that may have given you a bad experience with our company. We want each CSP whether coming through Seeing Angels Two by Two, LLC, any other IBO, or directly through Arise to have the best work at home experience imaginable. In regards to some of the most recent postings we would like to say any and all IBO’s (Premier Partners) through Arise develop a structure that best fits their company. It is not difficult to develop your own and we are more than happy to assist in the transfer, just as we have done in the past for other CSP’s. Regardless of what the policy is at Arise, each individual IBO develops their own structure including compensation, fees, etc. This is one of the many perks to becoming an owner of your very own IBO. We do what is necessary by supporting and communicating with all of our CSPs around the clock to ensure their success. Seeing Angels Two by Two, LLC does not find it appropriate or professional to address any accusations that were released, as the personal lifestyles of its owners and management team is just that, personal. This does not affect or change how the business is ran and how support is provided.
If you are an existing or former CSP that has unresolved issues, we are more than happy to discuss them with each and every one. We are unable to provide a resolution if it is not brought to our attention. We are more than willing to work with any CSP to come to a mutual conclusion.
We wish all CSPs, IBOs (Premier Partners) the best of luck and very much success!

  14. Seeing Devils can srew themselves, I recently signed on with this horrible company and yes in the beginning they make it seem as if they care, They care until it's time to get your money. They are a complete rip off, it only took me a few months to find out they we're sheep in wolves clothing, I was informed that our client was merging with another part of the business so we had to a two week training which we we're paid $9.00hr for 20 for two weeks that = $360 that they did not add with my pay I knew that I had this money coming with all my regular service hours, well they have their own invoice they make themselves not showing the real ARISE INVOICE, so I asked where was my training pay, these Devils are going to tell me it wasn't on the invoice but they won't show me the invoice from Arise, then I call that damn Ginger and she says that Becky has put in a ticket about my pay. They never give me a ticket, number, don't surprise me. Then she's going to say well if it's owed to you then you'll get it on the 30th of August....That's bull because I have asked people I know and ones I don't know did they receive their training pay and everyone said YES...And I took this training the begining of July so why are they holding my money until the end of August...I begg Please do not join this corrupt group of devils, they will lie, steal, and hide your true evidence so you won't find out....

    1. May I ask if you received the adjustment on the invoice? Please know that Arise and SATBT are human and mistakes are made, but we can only pay by what we are sent from Arise. If there are any pay issues we ask that the CSP send an email to our accounting department so we can get with Arise to research the issue. I'm not clear as to what "true evidence" you're referring to. Each IB is ran differently and yes, we do provide our own invoices being that you're a contractor under SATBT. Each invoice should match the SOW that the CSP agreed to and signed. As in previous post we've asked that the CSP contact us if there are any ongoing issues that we aren't aware of and I extend this to you as well.

  15. I also had a horrible experience with seeing angels two by two they don't pay you for any training that you are suppose be paid for they take up to $2.00 a hour of your hard earned money and on top of that they still charge you the arise fee 19.99 per pay check. I didnt understand why Arise continuously send out emails for an extra 2-3 dollar a hour incentives to get us to work extra hours around holidays and seeing angels two by two never paid it to me it was like false advertisement, so I feel as if I could have spent this holiday time with my family instead of busting my butt for money I was never going to get from this money hungry IBO. I had many issue with them as far as my pay it was like it was never ending and there where also incidents where I would not even get a response back for issues I had as far as this. Arise itself is a great company but be careful who you choose as your IBO.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Melissa I'm sorry, but your name doesn't sound familiar so I'm not sure how we can assist. I can tell you that all incentives are paid by the clients. Normally, to receive the incentives from the clients you have to meet the metrics according to your SOW and required hours with no released time. Your training isn't paid by Arise or the clients and it's stated upfront. Any upskill training is normally paid by the clients and the information is sent out advising. Any and all emails are answered by our accounting department within 24 hrs and sent to Arise for research.

it does sound like Seeing Angels Two by Two
Is more like a service that helps get work at home jobs that does charge a fee

If that is correct I am here to tell you there is tons of work at home jobs where you work directly for a company, there are no fee involved, no service charges taken out of your paycheck and you don’t have to worry about your check not being able to be cashed and problems with bounced checks charges

    1. Thank you for your response K Adams. I'm not sure about the other work at home companies you mentioned, but with Arise you have to be incorporated. Independent Businesses like Seeing Angels take on CSPs that don't want the hassle of incorporating. Often times CSPs and potential CSPs are confused with the rules, guidelines, or requirements as each IB is different. Please understand that all information is provided before signing on with SATBY and if you are not satisfied for any reason you can always develop your own IB or join another existing IB that you feel would be a better fit. 20. I worked for Cybergirlfriday, LLC - sweet, and nice in the beginning, and they were a premier partner of Arise!

    DONT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!!

I thought I was choosing a good company.

I was given a thumbs up to start my own business license and they even walked me through it, however...

After I started, they stated they would mail me my last check....

Arise then paid them an additional part of another check when I was signed up as my own IBO. This added to be 800-900 dollars. On top of that, I wasn't able to see my original Arise invoice.

I have contacted Arise - and what have they stated "You have to handle it between you and your IBO."

I looked into filing a claim - and guess what? I was advised that at the end I could owe money for court fees - and it wasn't really worth it.

That is how these people make their money!

    Become your own IBO!!!

Seeing Angels is accredited by the BBB with an A+ rating, however I'm not sure if Cybergirlfriday, LLC is accredited or which company you were referring to. The issue is CSP's joining Independent Businesses without knowing or comprehending what it entails and then they lash out when it's not what they expect rather than talking to their IBO. 25. I'm wanting to warn others so they do not make the mistake I made in trusting what I believe is a bad IBO.

I signed up with Seeing Angels Two By Two in early 2018. I serviced a total of 4 clients with them. Never once was I ever told they do not pay what the client pays. So from day one they pocketed off of my hourly rate with each client...... not to mention any incentives.

I started servicing a client in January and discovered a HUGE dispute in hours. I was shorted almost 6 hrs. I reached out to them and was told that out of 17 hrs I had selected for the week, I sat in ACW for 5.87hrs ( over 2 hrs on 2 different days)

We alllll know that NO ONE would sit in ACW for over 2 hrs on a shift without being kicked..... well I pulled my call history on the client and sent screenshots to my IBO showing the times "I was in acw" I was on the phone and talking to customers. It showed the phone number as well as dates, times and call durations!!

They replied back to me that the platform and client investigated it and went over it several times and found in favor of the platform and the client and that I was not at all servicing. They never sent me proof they disputed with Arise only a copy/pasted text that read something about they investigated and was determined the client was correct and I was not. No screenshot or anything to show and prove what they were sent....

Well it's hard to claim that when the clients own phone log showed my CSP # on calls.

I gave my IBO notice shortly after that when I saw they shorted me again that I was leaving and becoming my own IBO....

They said I must wait until April 1st to be released... even though I expressed staying with them was a hardship on my family and I had a pending legal issue and needed released ASAP....

I registered my business on the 26th on the platform since I had no hours selected since the 21st and was not scheduled to service again until April 1st...... I then received the following email....

There is nothing I needed to do with them and the platform to switch my payroll from them to my own.... I do that directly on the platform.... I enter my business banking info... they dont have that info nor are they privileged to my business banking information!!!

I started researching them online and discovered several complaints, one was eerily similar to my experience and even found allegations made against one of the owners that is VERY disturbing.

Each time I have spoken to Becky, i believe she has this extremely boastful, almost narcissistic attitude about how shes been a premier with the platform for over 10 yrs and knows many of the employees at Arise and "has contacts" within the company.....

I am just disgusted with my experience and find it disturbing they believe they should keep a final check knowing my financial situation over the past few months, that my city is under a mayor's order to shelter in place and my family is in quarantine right now. Especially when there were no hours due to her since the 21st and I released in the 26th.....

    **edited to add**

I also reached out MULTIPLE times about the new SOW for my client and was told it hadn't been received yet. I found this to be a LIE. It had been sent and when I did the registration for my company my current SOW (set to end March 31st) and the new one (April 1st) were both there lending me to sign.... they had my new SOW for at least a week.... when I inquired last week about it the response I received from the accounting dept (asking me if I was still becoming my own ibo) made me believe they were not sending it since I was registering as my own IBO on the 1st.

They also sent me a lengthy email when I informed them I was wanting to end my relationship with them last month, in what appeared (imo) as a very poor attempt to deter me from the choice I had already made....
